Terrence Austin, a preschool student teacher at Concordia International School in Shanghai, China, learned how funny preschoolers can be while on a field trip with his class.

“We were looking at the monkeys and the baboons,” Austin said. “And one of them asked what was wrong with his butt.”

One of his students then shouted, “They’re bamboos!”

Austin’s class then walked by actual bamboo, where the student proudly pointed out all the “baboons” to their fellow classmates.

“You can’t make this stuff up,” Austin said.
