Senior Adrianna Rodencal kept her winning record intact at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics National Track and Field Meet on March 5-7, as she raced to a national title in the women’s 60-meter hurdles.
Rodencal, a two-time All-American and three-time Great Plains Athletic Conference champion in the 60-meter hurdles, placed first in every hurdle race of the 2025-2026 indoor track and field season. Her national meet time of 8.25 was a personal best and broke her own school record.
Rodencal also competed in the 4×400-meter relay alongside senior Josi Noble, senior Kayla Kirchner and junior Tayden Kirchner. The team placed 14th, running a 3:54.45.
Concordia’s other All-American on the track is no stranger to the title. Sophomore Jonny Jurchen placed sixth at nationals in the men’s 3k racewalk, improving on his seventh-place result last season. Jurchen finished the race in a personal best time of 12:14.38.
Freshman Jack Habegger also competed in the racewalk and placed ninth with a 12:58.00, just missing out on All-American honors.
Sophomore Nathan Baldwin claimed the only All-American distinction for the field portion of the team. Baldwin placed third in the men’s weight throw with a personal best 19.3-meter throw.
The Bulldogs will open up their outdoor season on March 28 at the UNK Hastings College Central Nebraska Challenge.
