Parking Spaces Changed Following Faculty, Student Input

New parking spaces and fines were implemented at the beginning of the 2015-16 school year to expand faculty/staff parking on campus.

Now, just two weeks into the semester, the far south row in the Jesse parking lot has been changed from faculty/staff parking to student parking.

Faculty, staff, administrators and students advocated for the change.

“It became clear that these spaces were more needed for students than for faculty and staff,” said Gene Brooks, vice president for student affairs. “Administration continues to look for ways to improve parking availability on campus.”
