The Student Senate is back in session for the semester with meetings every Tuesday at 6:15 p.m. in the Dunklau lecture hall.
Senior Josh Burmeister is the president, junior Quinlan Hendrickson is the vice president, junior Emma VanTol is the treasurer, and junior Kayla Korb is the secretary.
Hendrickson said the Senate exists to bring student concerns to the attention of Concordia higher-ups, such as the Student Life Office staff, Concordia administration, Buildings and Grounds, and Chartwells dining services.
“If you have any concerns about campus, about dorm life, about clubs, anything at all that you want the student body to hear about, then we will take it to SLO, take it to wherever it needs to be to figure it out and try to fix or solve whatever problem there is,” Hendrickson said.
All official campus clubs must send representatives to the weekly Senate meetings in order to receive Senate funding. Non-club representatives are also encouraged to attend the meetings.
