Student Senate Update
By Kaytlyn Kindschy
Over the past couple of weeks, Concordia University Nebraska Student Senate has been discussing the possibility of the College Democratic Club becoming an official club on campus, as well as the name of the lot where the pavilion and the hammock posts are located.
The week of Sep. 20, the members of Student Senate discussed several different names for the pavilion lot and on the week of Sep. 27, the Senate trimmed the choices down to the top three.
Following this senate meeting, on Tuesday Oct. 6 Student Services sent out a survey to the student body for people to vote on their favorite name for the pavilion lot. The survey will be open until next Tuesday, Oct. 13 at 4 p.m.
In addition to voting on names, Student Senate also voted in favor of the College Democratic Club becoming an official club on campus.
