The Bulldogs played Friday, Saturday and Sunday last weekend and came out with three wins and a loss. They began their weekend home opener against Nebraska Wesleyan with a win 11-4 at Plum Creek. In their second game of the day, they fell to No. 16 Jamestown 12-2.

Senior pitcher Josh Prater pitched for the first seven innings versus Nebraska Wesleyan, then freshman Desmond Pineda took over to pitch for the final two scoreless innings. Junior Kaleb Geiger hit a homerun to right field in the bottom of the first inning. In the bottom of the second inning, senior Casey Berg added another homer to right field.

In their second game of the day versus future GPAC member Jamestown, the Bulldogs dropped a game to the Jimmies 12-2. Freshman Nick Little pitched for the majority of the game.

Saturday, the Bulldogs traveled to Woods Park in Lincoln looking to avenge the loss they received just two days prior. This time, they were victorious. The Bulldogs beat the Jimmies 1-0. Freshman Wade Council pitched for all seven innings. In the seventh inning, senior catcher Ryan Fesmire had a walk-off single, which scored senior Jake Adams for the game-winning run.

In their final game of the weekend, the Bulldogs faced Nebraska Wesleyan at Woods Park. Concordia was triumphant yet again, beating the Prairie Wolves by a score of 15-4. With many doubles hit by multiple players, the Bulldogs won the game heftily.  Geiger, Adams and senior Tyler Nelson all doubled in the game, which led to many successful at bats for the other hitters.

Freshman Jason Munsch started as the pitcher for the Bulldogs until the sixth inning when senior Nic Seaman went in. In the seventh inning, senior Cade Moring closed the game out to finish with a win.

After these performances, the Bulldogs have improved their record to 11-7. They traveled to Wichita, Kansas, to face Friends University for a doubleheader on Tuesday afternoon.
