Women’s Basketball Coach Drew Olson’s squad manufactured another blowout victory for Concordia on Wednesday night against the College of St. Mary, 108-64.

Concordia showed its strong offensive efficiency out of the gate through role model players like sophomore Elsie Aslesen who scored 11 points in the first quarter. Other contributing players off the bench included sophomore Chloe Schumacher, freshman Taylor Farrell and freshman Averie Lambrecht who all finished with double digit scoring. Their contributions made for a lopsided victory, even with senior star Philomena Lammers absent from the court for most of the night.

Concordia is now 16-2 (11-1 Great Plains Athletic Conference) on the season. The Bulldogs will have another road game on Saturday as they travel to Sioux City, Iowa for a GPAC matchup with Briar Cliff University (5-15, 2-9 GPAC). The last time Concordia collided with Briar Cliff, the Bulldogs hammered the Chargers with a 113-59 victory.
