A day after postponing a doubleheader against Grace University, the Concordia baseball team routed the Royals in both games, defeating Grace 11-0 and 21-4 and improving to 14-12 on the year.

In game one Concordia plated runs in every inning while holding the Royals blank. The Bulldogs were efficient throughout the game by scoring their 11 runs on 12 hits. Sophomore Kaleb Geiger and junior Christian Montero both blasted a home run as well.

Starting pitcher Mark Harris picked up his third win of the year after going 5.2 innings and striking out seven batters.

In game two Concordia continued to see the ball well and scored 21 runs on 15 hits. The Bulldogs opened up the game when the team scored 13 runs in the second inning.

Starting pitcher sophomore Cole Jackson picked up his first win of the year by going five innings and allowing one run on two hits.

The Bulldogs will take the field again at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, March 22 when they host No. 13 Tabor College.
