Home Sports Concordia Baseball Goes 1-3 in First Two Days of Arizona Trip

The Concordia baseball team started its spring break trip in Arizona with a 1-3 record against William Penn University and University of Jamestown.

On Saturday the Bulldogs played a doubleheader against William Penn University and split the pair of games. Concordia dropped the first game 7-3, but rebounded with a 9-3 win in game two.

Sunday afternoon the Bulldogs played (RV) University of Jamestown and were swept by the Jimmies. The Jimmies are now 15-0 on the year, while the Bulldogs dropped to 6-10 overall. The Bulldogs dropped the first game 9-1 and the second game 8-1.

Concordia takes the field at 7:30 Central Standard Time tomorrow night against Missouri Valley College.
