The Concordia baseball team continued its winning ways in Arizona with a pair of wins on Thursday. The Bulldogs defeated Olivet Nazarene University 5-2 and Waldorf College 8-2 to improve to 10-10 on the year and 5-3 on the trip.

Senior Mark Harris played a vital role in game one as he started on the mound for the Bulldogs. Harris also contributed at the plate.

Junior Christian Montero recorded a single, double and triple in game one.

In game two sophomore Neil Ryan got the start for Concordia and went 6.2 innings without giving up a run before being relieved by a committee of pitchers. Juniors Todd Obertien, Nic Seaman and Josh Prater completed the game.

Concordia will take on Dakota State for a doubleheader on Friday to end its road trip in Arizona. The first pitch is set for 10 a.m. CDT.
