Sophomore Keeli Green capped off an impressive 2025 cross country season with a 27th place finish at the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics Cross Country Championships.
The Friday, Nov. 21, meet in Tallahassee, Florida, featured the very best from across the NAIA and included two Bulldogs, Green and sophomore Vaughn Hendrickson.
Green led her team in every race she was healthy for this season and earned Great Plains Athletic Conference All-Conference honors with a fourth-place finish at the GPAC meet.
Green ran a 21:50.5 for her 6k nationals race and was only beaten by two GPAC foes. The 2025 championships were Green’s second trip to nationals, as she placed 177th in 2023.
For Hendrickson, it was also his second trip to the national meet. Hendrickson placed 139th with a 26:12.6 in the 8k at this year’s meet. In 2024, Hendrickson finished 36th and earned All-American honors as a freshman. Hendrickson was the 2024 GPAC champion and 2025 fourth-place finisher.
The meet caps off the 2025 cross country season. Many of the runners will be looking forward to the start of the indoor track and field season, which begins on Dec. 12 with the CUNE Early Bird Meet in the Walz Fieldhouse.
