Co-Managing Editors

Hello everyone — Let’s get to know your new Sower co-managing editors Dylan Buechler and Elizabeth Salo!

Dylan: I am a senior this year majoring in Theology as well as being in the Pre-Seminary program. Nora Betts, last year’s managing editor of the Sower, left some very big shoes for us to fill, and I am so lucky to not be alone in making the Sower the best it can be. I loved working as a reporter last year and I am very excited to continue putting out new and fresh news for all of you to enjoy!

I have always loved telling people what’s going on and what the facts are. That’s what is most important to me, unbiased and factual reporting. That is exactly what we strive for at the Sower, and that is what you will be seeing from us.

May God bless your time here with laughs, learning, memories, and new relationships. The peace of Christ be with you all.

Elizabeth: I’m the other managing editor for the Sower this year. I am double majoring in history and English, and this will be my junior year.

Last year was my first year as a Sower reporter, but I have some other journalism experience from working with a local newspaper in my hometown. That said, as a non-journalism major, I am very happy to have someone else to help me figure this out, especially since, as Dylan noted, we have such big shoes to fill.

I have always loved writing and storytelling, and journalism is just that, but in an objective way that accurately tells people the facts they need to know in their daily lives, which is an incredibly important job that I am very excited to be a part of.

May God bless all your endeavors this year as you learn and work here at Concordia!
