The Bulldogs hosted Northwestern this weekend beating them 95-78. The Bulldogs came out and built a commanding lead early in the first half.

Later in the first half, the Red Raiders came back and were able to make it a tie game at 32 before the Bulldogs took back control of the game.

Junior Carter Kent raked up 32 points, five rebounds and three assists. Freshman Noah Schutte was right behind Kent getting 18 points of his own.

Juniors Justin Wiersema and Gage Smith both finished with double-digit points as well with Wiersema finishing with 14 points and Smith finishing with 11 points and grabbing seven rebounds as well.

This was a good statement win for the Bulldogs as they now sit 9-2, 4-2 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. The Bulldogs will look to continue their win streak as they will host Mount Marty on Dec. 8 inside Friedrich Arena with tip-off starting at 7:45 p.m.
