Men’s Tennis Falls in Close Match in Pella

The Concordia University men’s tennis team lost 5-4 on Saturday at Central College of Pella, Iowa.
The loss brings the team to a 0-4 record over the first two weekends of the season.
In singles play, sophomore Gabe Poling won straight sets 6-1, 6-4. South African native and sophomore Thomas Greeff also picked up a win going 6-2, 5-7, 10-6. Freshman Josh Miller also picked up a win in 3 sets going 6-4, 5-7, 11-9.
In doubles play, the duo of Greeff and freshman Lucas Zoller won 9-7 over Central College.
The Bulldogs now have a few days downtime before they take on Southwestern College in Fremont on Feb. 17. First serve is set for 4 p.m.
