The Concordia women’s basketball team continued its strong start to the season with a decisive 99–63 victory over Arizona Christian University during the Cattle Classic.

Concordia controlled the pace from start to finish, using a balanced attack and relentless energy on both ends of the floor. After leading by just five at halftime, the Bulldogs broke the game open in the third quarter, outscoring the Firestorm 29–12 and never looking back.

Head Coach Drew Olson praised the team’s energy and teamwork after the win.

“The third quarter was pretty special, but I just feel like we play really hard and play together—especially when we take a shot and share the ball.”

The Bulldogs shot an efficient 50.7 percent from the field, with Bree Bunting, Sammy Leu, and Kristin Vieselmeyer each scoring 14 points.

With the win, Concordia improved to 3–0 and will look to stay unbeaten when it faces Clarke University on Nov. 8, closing out the Cattle Classic.
