The Concordia men’s soccer team fell to 5-4 overall and 0-2 in GPAC after losing 2-0 to Hastings College at Hastings on Tuesday, Sept. 29.
The Bulldogs got their fair share of shots off at they put four of their seven shots on goal in the first half.
However, the Broncos scored first with a goal by Murlio Ceruli to gain a 1-0 advantage going into halftime.
In the second half, the Broncos were more aggressive and outshot the Bulldogs 8 to 4 in the second half, putting half of their shots on goal.
The Broncos scored a second goal when Lucas Venegas struck the back of the net to gain a 2-0 lead.
Concordia will look to bounce back when it hosts Dordt College on Saturday, Oct. 3. Kickoff is set for 3:30 p.m.
