Home Sports Bulldogs Cruise Past Tigers

The No. 18 Concordia Bulldogs volleyball team had no problem taking down Central Christian College (Kansas) in a nonconference matchup on Tuesday, Sept. 29

The Bulldogs overpowered the Tigers and won in straight sets 25-8, 25-11 and 25-8.

With the win, the Bulldogs improved to 16-4 and 4-1 in GPAC.

Concordia came out hot offensively, hitting .545 in the first set. The Bulldogs continued to play well and hit at .396 as a team for the match.

Senior Claire White led the Bulldogs with 9 kills. Juniors Paige Getz and Tiegen Skains also chipped in 8 and 6 kills respectively.

Concordia jumps back into conference play this Friday. The Bulldogs will play at home against Morningside at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 2.
