Concordia Men’s Soccer Historic Season Ends at National Tournament

The Concordia men’s soccer team appeared in its first national soccer tournament and faced No. 5 Oklahoma Wesleyan University at the Eagles field. The Bulldogs failed to score while the Eagles struck three times on their way to a 3-0 win over Concordia.
The Bulldogs’ historic season ended with a record of 11-7-3.
The Eagles took a 1-0 lead into halftime and found the back of the net two more times in the second half to seal the game.
Oklahoma Wesleyan’s Daniel Carney, Nemanja Zalad and Luka Milicevic all converted goals for the Eagles in their win.
Concordia was outshot on the day 17-16, and the Eagles applied more pressure by putting eight shots on goal compared to the Bulldogs two shots on goal.
