The Concordia University women’s basketball team improved to 2-0 on the season with an 80-59 win at Graceland on Oct. 28. The Bulldogs outrebounded Graceland 38-33, with junior forward Raelyn Kelty recording a double-double of 10 points and 15 rebounds.

Concordia outscored Graceland in every quarter and recorded multiple turnovers that led to scoring opportunities. Graceland was held to fewer points in each quarter following the first, contributing to the final margin.

The game was close in the early stages, but Concordia pulled away heading into halftime and continued to extend the 46-35 lead.
12 Bulldogs saw action in the game, with 23 of their points coming off the bench. The lead scorer was senior Kristin Vieselmeyer, who put up 19 in 32 minutes.

Concordia will return home to face Arizona Christian in the Cattle Classic on Nov. 7.
