Concordia Women’s Tennis Blanked in GPAC Opener

The Concordia women’s tennis team opened up GPAC play on Saturday and fell to Morningside College 9-0. The Bulldogs move to 2-11 overall and 0-1 in GPAC.
In doubles competition the Bulldogs were swept by final scores of 8-3, 8-1 and 8-3. During singles play the best matches for Concordia were freshman Hailey Lemos and sophomore Alison Ebel. Lemos dropped her match 6-0 and 6-2, while Ebel fell 6-0 and 6-2.
The Bulldogs will look to earn their first GPAC win of the year when they face College of Saint Mary in Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, April 4.
