Cross Country Runners Race at Nationals

Saturday morning the women’s and men’s cross country national races were held in Charlotte, North Carolina.
For the women’s race Concordia sent two runners senior Kim Wood and sophomore Emily Sievert. Wood finished with a time of 19:08.8 and placed 120th out of 321 runners, while Sievert finished with a time of 19:27.3 and placed 159th.
On the men’s side, senior Jordan Potrzeba represented Concordia. Potrzeba finished his race in a time of 26:15.1 and placed 96 out of 326 runners.
The national races in Charlotte capped off the 2015 season for Concordia’s cross country team. The Bulldogs will lose two runners to graduation on the men’s side and five on the women’s side.
