The CUNE Improvables hosted their first improv show of 2021 in the Black Box on Tuesday night with two different sets of improv members participating in games.

Students were able to attend in person for free by signing up through a link and keeping their masks on for the entirety of the show. However, the show was also live streamed for anyone who could not attend in person.

Sophomore Deborah Holle was amongst the students in the audience and said she loved the different acting styles that each cast member brings to improv.

“I like how everyone has some resemblance of normalcy because the activities are the same for everyone, but everyone is so different so you never know what you’re going to get,” Holle said. “It’s like a box of chocolates.”

Junior RJ Acomb said that the things actors do spontaneously makes her laugh.

“When Avery Kesar and Drew Boggs started dancing together that made my heart soar,” Acomb said.

If you are interested in joining the Improvables, they have weekly meetings in the Black Box on Monday nights at 9:30 p.m. and if you’d like to just keep up with what the group is doing or make sure you don’t miss any of their upcoming events, they advise that you follow them on social media @cuneimprov.
