Home Sports Men’s Basketball Falls to Jamestown

The Concordia men’s basketball team ended their three-game winning streak when they lost to the University of Jamestown (North Dakota) Jimmies 95-68.

Jamestown led by 20 points with a score of 48-28 at half time and then increased their lead to nearly 30 points by the final buzzer.

Starters included junior guard Brevin Sloup (#3), freshman guard Carter Kent (#5), junior guard/forward Tanner Shuck (#21), freshman guard Justin Wiersema (#10), and junior forward Chuol Biel (#30).

Lead scorers for the game were Sloup with 16 points, Wiersema with 9 points, Shuck with 9 points and junior Samuel Adjei with 9 points (#55).

The team will return to Walz Arena to play the Doane Tigers on Jan. 23 before making their way to Ann Arbor, Michigan to participate in Concordia Invitational Tournament hosted by Concordia University, Ann Arbor.
