Home Sports Men’s Soccer Improves to 2-0

The Concordia men’s soccer team gutted out a 1-0 victory at home over Benedictine College (Kan.) on Saturday, Aug. 29.

In a game that was physical, up tempo, and tension filled, the Bulldogs slid a late goal past the Ravens to improve to 2-0 on the year.

Freshman Kevin Andrade netted his first career goal and the only goal of the contest in the 82nd minute.

The Bulldogs outshot the Ravens 15-7 in the contest and 10-2 in the second half.

Of the seven shots by the Ravens only one was on goal. Of the Bulldogs 15 shots, seven were on goal.

The Bulldogs will look to continue their winning ways as they head to York College (2-0) on September 1st. Game time is set for 3:30 p.m.
