Men’s Soccer Wins Against Briar Cliff

The Bulldogs had an exciting double overtime win over Briar Cliff University on Saturday, Oct. 27.
The scoring started in the second half with a bicycle kick goal by junior Roger de la Villa. It was a 1-0 lead that looked to be the final score until Briar Cliff scored with less than a minute remaining in the half.
In the second overtime of the game, de la Villa made his presence known in the scorebook once again. With 33 seconds left, he knocked in the game winning goal, giving Concordia a2-1 victory to end the season.
The Bulldogs finished their season 10-4-3 and will begin Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) play Thursday.
