Moundbuilders Win 9-0 over Concordia Women’s Tennis

Friday afternoon the (RV) Southwestern College Moundbuilders defeated the Concordia women’s tennis team 9-0 in Lincoln.
The Bulldogs (1-6) failed to win a point, but came close in a couple of matches. In doubles play, the No. 1 doubles team of sophomore Annie Horn and freshman Katelinn Wurm lost 8-5. The Moundbuilders claimed the other two doubles matches by scores of 8-2 and 8-0.
In singles play, Wurm came the closest to winning. Wurm lost in three sets 6-4, 6-7 and 7-4.
The Bulldogs will have one week to prepare for their next match against Tabor College at 1 p.m. in Lincoln.
