Home Sports Women’s Tennis Comes Up Short Against Southwestern College

Concordia women’s tennis team are still seeking their first win of the season after coming up short 0-9 on Thursday afternoon against Southwestern College (Kansas).

Concordia is now 0-4 on the season. Last season, Concordia finished 8-14 overall and finished with a 5-3 record in conference outings.

Concordia’s singles lineup included Junior Annie Horn, Sophomore Katelinn Wurm, Junior Katie Hurtz, Freshman Kristen Wagner, Sophomore Katie Smock and Sophomore Anna Kenney.

In doubles play, the lineup included Annie Horn and Kristen Wagner, Katelinn Wurm and Kayla Smock, Katie Hertz and Angela Bell.

The Bulldogs now return to the Fieldhouse and take on College of Saint Benedict (Minn.) which is an NCAA Division III affiliate. The first serve is set for Saturday, Feb. 18th at 11 a.m.
