Home Sports Women’s Tennis Falls to Tabor College

Friday afternoon the Concordia women’s tennis team was defeated by the Tabor College Blue Jays 9-0.

The Bulldogs came close to claiming a couple of team points, but the Blue Jays prevented Concordia from earning any points.

The closest match for the Bulldogs came by from freshman Katelinn Wurm. Wurm competed at the number two spot for individuals and ended up losing in three sets 6-4, 4-6 and 10-6.

In doubles competition, the No. 1 and 2 pairs for the Bulldogs both lost by 8-3 decisions. The No. 3 doubles team lost 8-0.

Concordia will return to action at 2 p.m. on Friday, March 4 when the Bulldogs host Bethel College.
