The women’s basketball team faced Doane on Feb. 20 inside Friedrich Arena.  The Bulldogs were able to hold the lead the entire game winning 98-57.

 Junior Mackenzie Koepke was the star for the Bulldogs finishing with 17 points and 5 rebounds.  Koepke made her presence known early in the game ending the first quarter with 8 points as the Bulldogs created a 33 to 11 lead going into the second quarter.

Koepke wasn’t the only Bulldog to make an impact on the game.  Senior Taylor Cockerill finished with 12 points of her own and racked up 4 assists.  The bench for Concordia was impactful as well with sophomore Averie Lambrecht leading the charge finishing with 11 points and also grabbing 5 rebounds.

Freshman Kendal Brigham was able to showcase her ability as she finished with 9 points all coming from the three point line.  Brigham was on target from deep shooting 75% from the three-point line.

With this win, the Bulldogs will finish the season with a record of 18-7 (17-5 GPAC).  The Bulldogs will enter the GPAC playoffs sitting in second place.  They will host Dakota Weslyn on Feb. 24 inside Friedrich Arena tip off at 7 p.m.  Fans are allowed in the stands and are required to wear masks.
