Home Sports Bulldog Men’s Tennis falls 9-0 to Lopers

Wednesday evening the Concordia men’s tennis team traveled to Kearney for a showdown with University of Nebraska-Kearney. The Bulldogs lost to the Lopers 9-0, dropping Concordia to a 7-10 record.

Concordia’s No. 1 doubles team of freshman Willy Pardos and junior Javier Moreno and No. 2 doubles team of freshmen Thomas Greeff and Gabriel Poling both lost 8-3. The No. 3 team of juniors Patricio Esquivel and Philip Yox dropped their match 8-5.

In single’s play, Pardos had the closest match, despite being swept. Pardos lost 7-6 and 6-3.

The Bulldogs will return to GPAC play when they travel to Omaha on Saturday, April 23 for a 2 p.m. matchup with Mount Marty.
