Bulldog volleyball receives seven all-conference awards

After a Great Plains Athletic Conference runner-up season, the No. 4 Concordia University volleyball team has earned seven all-conference player awards, two individual player of the year awards and a coach award.
Senior Ashley Keck earned the highest honors on the team. Keck was named the GPAC Attacker of the Year as well as first-team all-conference. Joining Keck on the first team were juniors Ava Green and Ella Waters.
Emma Brueggemann won freshman of the year and was named to the GPAC second team. Senior Molli Martin was also selected for the second team.
Rounding out the player awards were senior Kya Scott and sophomore Shandi Fa’ali’i as GPAC all-conference honorable mentions.
Angie Boldt was named the GPAC Assistant Coach of the Year.
The Bulldogs will take their talent into the first round of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletes National Volleyball Tournament on Saturday, Nov. 22. Concordia will face off with Florida National University in Friedrich Arena at 1 p.m.
