Home Sports Bulldog Women Defeat Midland Warriors, Continue Winning Streak

Concordia’s women’s basketball team took control of the court early in Wednesday’s game against the Midland University Warriors and continued to lead for the remainder of the game with a final score of 84-74.

This win adds a fourth game to the team’s three-game winning streak and increases their win-loss record to 18-2 in the season.

Concordia led 49-38 at half time and maintained their lead throughout the third and fourth quarters despite Midland’s attempts to close the gap.

Majors scorers with double digits in the game included sophomore guard Taylor Cockerill (#5) with 19 points, junior forward Philomena Lammers (#42) with 19 points, and senior forward Quinn Wragge (#30) with 15 points.

The team will continue their season on Jan. 19 at their next away game against the University of Jamestown (North Dakota).
