by Garrett Suchanek

The Concordia Bulldogs men’s soccer team couldn’t slide a goal by Dordt College on Saturday afternoon as the Bulldogs tied with the Defenders and moved to 5-4-1 overall and 0-2-1 in GPAC.

The Bulldogs put up more shots throughout the match as they kicked a total of 24 shots compared to 14 for the Defenders.

The Bulldogs put seven out of 24 shots on goal but were unable to get anything past Dordt’s goalie Jack McCool.

Concordia’s goalie, junior Mark Horsburgh, came up with six saves throughout the match and allowed no goals.

The Bulldogs will take the field again when they host Midland University at 8 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 7.
