Concordia junior Matthew Wing died in a car accident on March 13 and several other students were severely injured, said President Bernard Bull in an email to the student body on Saturday.
The injured students are juniors Noah Ramirez, Jackson Lindburg and Hayden Kluthe. The four men were involved in a head-on collision with a vehicle that was driving on the wrong side of the road.
The president asked the Concordia community to pray for Wing’s family and friends, as well as for Ramirez, Lindburg, and Kluthe and their loved ones.
“We ask for your prayers during this time, for each other, for our campus and for the family and friends of the students that we can all find comfort in God’s love and healing grace,” said Bull.
Counseling and grief support services are available through Concordia’s Counseling Center.
