Home Sports Men’s Tennis Falls 6-3 to Cardinals

After a week off, the Concordia men’s tennis team took the court again and lost 3-6 by William Jewell College on Feb. 5.

The Bulldogs (1-2) were swept in doubles matches, but won three of the six singles matches.

Concordia’s number one, three and five spots collected the three wins of the day. Willy Pardos won in two sets 6-0 and 6-2. Javier Moreno and Gabriel Poling both won in a third set tiebreaker. Moreno won 6-2, 5-7 and 10-1 while Poling won 6-3, 2-6 and 10-3.

The Bulldogs will travel to Lincoln for a match against Baker University at noon on Feb. 6.
