Home Sports Women’s Tennis Swept by Cardinals

Friday afternoon the Concordia women’s tennis team took the court for the second time this year. The Bulldogs fell to 0-3 on the year with a 0-9 loss to William Jewell College.

Concordia failed to win a set in today’s match, but had two players record their first action this year for the Bulldogs.

Amanda VonSeggern and Elizabeth Phillips filled the fifth and sixth spots respectively. VonSeggern was defeated 6-1 and 6-1 while Phillips lost 6-0 and 6-0.

The Bulldogs will return to action at noon on Feb. 6 against Baker University in Lincoln.
