If you missed Concordia University Sports this week, here is what happened.

Concordia baseball dropped a few places in the most recent national coaches ranking from 13 to 17. The team split a double header with Briar Cliff University and a series with Northwestern College. Both teams are unranked in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics.

Concordia softball’s double header against College of Saint Mary on March 26 was postponed to April 15. First pitch is scheduled for 5 p.m. at the Plum Creek ballparks. Softball will keep its Good Friday double header against Doane on March 29.

Concordia men’s tennis was swept 7-0 by the University of Nebraska Kearney Lopers on March 24 with their third straight loss in an out of conference match in Kearney. The team is now 5-10 overall. The team takes a break until April 6 with a match against Northwestern College.

The University of Nebraska – Kearney swept Concordia in the doubles point with the matches going 6-2, 6-2 and 6-1. The most competitive singles match was the No. 3 between junior Manuel Rodriguez and UNK’s Aaron Osmond. Rodriguez fell 6-4 and 6-3 to the Loper.
