Sower staffers earn awards at Golden Leaf Awards ceremony

Sower staffers Caleb Lemon and Josiah Seabaugh earned awards at the Northern Plains Collegiate Media Association’s Golden Leaf Awards on Saturday, beating student journalists from seven other colleges.
Senior Caleb Lemon earned Second Place for Best Sports Column with his feature of Bulldog volleyball coach Ben Boldt.

Junior Josiah Seabaugh earned First Place for Best Sports Game Photo with a snapshot from the 2023 Homecoming football game v. Dakota Wesleyan.
Golden Leaf Awards are given for categories including photos, sports stories, feature stories, columns, print layout, and overall website design.
