Home Sports Wagner, Hertz and Kenney Pick up Wins for Women’s Tennis

Concordia women’s tennis team lost 6-3 on Friday afternoon against Ottawa University (Kansas) inside the Abbott Sports Complex in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Concordia is still searching for its first victory of the season. The squad is now 0-6.

Freshman Kirsten Wagner picked up a victory in singles play defeating Ashlynn Good from Ottawa University, 8-6. Sophomore Kayla Smock also won in singles play by forfeit.

In doubles play, the duo of junior Katie Hertz and sophomore Anna Kenney picked up the lone victory by forfeit.

The Bulldogs will face another KCAC conference member, Tabor College, on Saturday Feb. 25 again in the Abott Sports Complex. The first serve is set for 12 p.m.
