Home Sports Women’s Basketball Bounces Back in GPAC Play After Loss

Second-ranked Concordia women’s basketball team took on the Hastings College Broncos inside Lynn Farrell Arena and won 60-46.

The Bulldogs came into the contest after losing their first conference game of the season to 11th-ranked Dakota Wesleyan.

Senior Erin Vieselmeyer had a big game off the bench with 14 points and a perfect 4-4 from the field and 6-6 from the free throw line in 16 minutes of action.

Sophomore forward Quinn Wragge added 12 points.

Concordia now holds a 18-1 conference record and 27-2 season record.

The Bulldogs have a few days of rest before they finish conference play against Dordt College on Saturday, Feb. 18 inside Walz Arena. Tip-off is at 2 p.m. The Saturday game is also Senior Night. The Bulldogs will recognize guards Devin Edwards, Shelby Quinn and Lauren Krohn, along with forwards Vieselmeyer, Carissa Gutz and Aubri Bro.
