The Concordia soccer team returned home this Saturday and recorded their second straight tie against the Northwestern Raiders 0-0. It was a very physical match, with the Bulldogs battling hard throughout the contest, but the Raiders held strong and forced the tie.
Senior goalie Kalie Ward did not receive much action, with only two saves on the two shots on goal attempted by the Raiders. Concordia had five shots on goal and eighteen shots attempted in total.
The Bulldogs remain undefeated for the season with a 6-0-2 record overall and a 1-0-2 record in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. They will travel to Fremont on Sept. 28 to play Midland University in another GPAC contest.
