Concordia’s women’s soccer team lost their Sept. 4 game against Friends University at 2-0.

The team has not won a game so far this season. However, the team felt they had a good game and that they are coming together more and more.

“We had a couple of mistakes through the defense but that doesn’t mean it’s not fixable for the next game, so I’m definitely hopeful,” junior Michaela Twito said. “I’m not negative towards the game, I thought we did really good.”

Women’s soccer hopes to show the Bulldogs improvement and the results of their hard work in upcoming games.

“Even though we’ve had a tough start, that doesn’t define the rest of our season,” Twito said. “We are a new team with a lot of new incoming players, we have a lot of depth on our bench. It’s looking good for us, I only see good things for our future.”

Concordia plays Tabor College at an away game Sept. 7, and their next home game is Sept. 11 against Bellevue University.
