Home Sports Bulldogs Sweep Midland; Move to 4-0 on the Year

The lady Bulldogs of Concordia University Nebraska fought for a win against the Midland Warriors in three out of four sets with a final score of 25-18 during the volleyball game on Sept. 30.

Volleyball Head Coach Ben Boldt emphasized the word, “Resilience” during their matches against a tough GPAC rival. 

Bulldog fans left the arena with joyful hearts and continued to follow Covid-19 health mandates such as social distancing and mask-wearing.

Gabi Nordaker, the 2020 GPAC Attacker of the Week and the 2020 NAIA Attacker of the Week (Sept. 22) made another impressive appearance alongside her teammates such as senior Tara Callahan, sophomore Camryn Opfer, junior Arleigh Costello, senior Kara Stark, and senior Marissa Hoerman.

The Bulldog volleyball team continues to show a strong dynamic and connection on the court with lots of excitement left for the remainder of their season. 

Their next game will be held in Sioux City, Iowa at Dordt University on Oct. 2.

Their next home game will be against Northwestern College on Oct. 10 in Walz Arena at 3:00 pm. 

CUNE continues to ask all spectators to wear masks and keep a minimum distance of 6 ft between family groups.
