Concordia Men’s Tennis Drops Regular Season Finale

Tuesday afternoon the Concordia men’s tennis team finished its regular season with a loss to Hastings College in Hastings. The Bulldogs fell to the Broncos 7-2 and are now 7-11 overall and 1-4 in GPAC play.
Hastings took a 3-0 lead in the match by sweeping the doubles competition with scores of 8-5, 8-2 and 8-1.
In singles play, the Bulldogs found a way to win two of the five matches. Freshmen Thomas Greeff and Gabriel Poling were the lone victors for Concordia. Greeff won 6-2 and 6-4 while Poling won 7-5, 1-6 and 10-8.
Concordia will await the seeding for the GPAC tournament, which will be held on May 6 and 7 in Fremont.
