Concordia tops Midland 4-0

The Concordia University Nebraska women’s soccer team extended its winning streak with a powerful 4-0 performance against Midland on Oct. 15.
The Bulldogs controlled the match, outshooting the Warriors 28-6 and keeping consistent pressure on Midland throughout.
Kyana Rios opened the scoring early in the first half, followed by Guadalupe Sanchez just before halftime. In the second half, Kierstynn Garner and Taylor Slaymaker added goals to complete the 4-0 shutout.
With the win, Concordia improves to 10-1-4 overall and 5-1-2 in Great Plains Athletic Conference play. The Bulldogs also top the GPAC standings with 17 points in their eight games. Concordia will have a short break before hitting the road to face Dakota Wesleyan on Oct. 18.
