The Concordia University men’s basketball team notched its first win of the 2025-2026 season, 85-60 away at Tabor College on Oct. 31.
It was another slow start offensively for the Bulldogs as they went into the halftime break leading 34-25. Out of the locker room, however, they put on an offensive show with 51 points to Tabor’s 35.
Colorado Christian University transfer, junior Tate Odvody, led the scoring for Concordia with 21 points. The Omaha native was 7-9 from the field and 3-4 from three.
In the second half, Concordia shot 51.4 percent from the field and 47.4 percent from beyond the arc. After Odvody, senior Zac Kulus was Concordia’s biggest threat as he put up 16 points. Senior Logan Wilson led the team with 10 rebounds, and sophomore Dane Jacobsen dished out six assists. 15 Bulldogs saw the court with 31 points coming off the bench.
The Bulldogs stay in Hillsboro, Kansas, for one more day as they are set to take on Wayland Baptist University on Nov. 1.
