Concordia women’s basketball continued its strong start to the season with an 88-66 road victory over Northwestern. The Bulldogs controlled the game throughout, utilizing a combination of balanced scoring, active rebounding, and consistent defensive pressure to maintain momentum and build a lead.

The Bulldogs built a 43-31 halftime lead and closed strong with 24 points in the fourth quarter, turning defensive stops and turnovers into transition opportunities that Northwestern could not counter. Concordia shot 43 percent from the field, made nine three-pointers, and converted 11 of 12 free throws, demonstrating efficient execution on both ends of the floor.

Ayla Roth led the team with 19 points and four assists, while Raelyn Kelty added 14 points and Sammy Leu contributed 11 points and five rebounds. The Bulldog got 25 points off the bench as well as energy and ball movement that helped maintain the Bulldogs’ pace throughout the game.

With the win, Concordia remains undefeated and improves to 7-0 overall and 3-0 in the Great Plains Athletic Conference. They will return to the road to face Mount Marty on November 25.
