Concordia sweeps Morningside to advance to semifinals

Concordia University’s volleyball team started the Great Plains Athletic Conference tournament on a strong note, sweeping Morningside in the quarterfinals (25–15, 25–13, 25–17).
The Bulldogs’ defense was outstanding, holding Morningside to a .093 hitting percentage, while the offense clicked for a .283 hitting percentage.
Senior Ashley Keck led the way with a match-high 22 kills on an impressive .351 hitting percentage. Ava Greene contributed seven kills, while Kya Scott and Ella Waters each added five as part of a balanced attack.
With the victory, Concordia improves to 23–2 overall and advances to the GPAC semifinals, where the Bulldogs will host Midland University on Nov. 12.
