Bulldog men’s basketball finishes the Cattle Classic in triple digits, 107-68

The Concordia University men’s basketball team completed its 2-0 record at the Cattle Classic basketball tournament with a 107-68 win over Clarke University on Nov. 8.
The Bulldogs were deadly from range as they knocked down 23 three-pointers throughout the game with 46.9 percent accuracy.
Concordia dominated throughout the game and led 51-27 at the halftime break before outscoring Clarke 56-41 in the second period.
Junior Brooks Kissinger led the scoring with 18 points. He was close to a triple-double as he notched eight assists and rebounds. He was also named to the All-Cattle Classic team.
Kissinger was joined by junior Jaxon Stueve on the All-Cattle Classic team. Stueve put up eight points and nine rebounds.
The Concordia bench got a lot of action with 54 points coming from it. Freshman MJ Coffey and Garret Johnson each put up 14 points when called upon.
The Bulldogs move to 3-2 on the season and will face Waldorf at home on Nov. 15 at 4:45 p.m. in the Great Plains Athletic Conference opener.
