Men’s Tennis Falls to University of Nebraska Omaha

Friday afternoon the Concordia men’s tennis team traveled to Omaha to take on University of Nebraska Omaha, and the Mavericks handed the Bulldogs their first loss of the year by winning 9-0.
The Bulldogs (1-1) lost all three doubles matches by final scores of 1-6, 0-6 and 0-6.
Despite failing to win any of the six singles matches, freshmen Thomas Greeff and Willy Pardos gave Omaha’s Alex Woodward and Matt Dunn the best sets of the day. Greeff lost in two sets, 2-6 and 3-6. Pardos lost in three sets 3-6, 6-4 and 0-1.
The Bulldogs will have a week off before traveling to Liberty, Missouri, to play William Jewell College at 11 a.m. on Friday, Feb. 5.
